She studied in LyceeFrancais schools, attended Faculty of Engineering Cairo University,specialised in Electronics and communications and graduated from the Faculty of Engineering- Cairo Universityin 1976. After graduation,went to England and joined Strathclyde University in Glasgow to start the master's degree.
In 1984 Mrs. Hoda Soliman returned from England and joined Manor House School as a Mathematics teacher, in 1986 she became the Head of the Mathematics department in the school due to her outstanding effort and commitment. In 1990 the School's management promoted her to be the deputy Principal and in 2001 she became the school's principal
She got many awards from Cambridge such as: CIE Beacon Award, best Co-ordinator and best principal.
